In 1968, Jake began his craft in
Europe. Since then he has perfected his craftsmanship to a Master's
Level. His wares have been sold on the streets made by Roman soldiers in
Germany.
Jake has successfully learned the art of
leather work by self-study. Enjoying his art and his lifestyle, he has
recently completed a solar and wind generated home studio atop a
beautiful mesa near Capitan, where he has lived since 1992. Jake
maintains a loyal customer base from all over the world. His work has
been represented in art shows throughout the United States and Canada.

Jake continues to enjoy teaching customers the
process of making fine leather items. All of the
work he is personally designed and hand crafted.
